A1 Decorators

Very disappointed with Keith from A1 Decorators. He arrived around 10am and only worked 4-5 hours the first two days. On the third day he arrived at around 11am, said he had to go home for a sofa delivery because the guys couldn’t get it through the door, and that was the last we saw of him. The next morning he messaged saying he had "slipped a disc in his back and couldn’t finish the job". However, he had already taken all his equipment away the day before, so he clearly knew he wasn’t coming back. There was no sign of any injury when he left. When I texted him what paint he used in the living room, he didn’t even bother to reply. He took a deposit but left the job unfinished with many things not done properly. Very unprofessional and dishonest. It’s not even about the £300 deposit (he did buy a small amount of coving), but the lack of honesty and professionalism is unacceptable. He left the job unfinished with many things not done properly. I would not recommend him.

Keith painted an entire rental house for us. He was recommended by a friend & he did such a great job we’ve now booked him in again to do our house. He’s a clean & tidy worker, professional & his work is great. I would recommend him to anyone We were so impressed, we also used him again to paint entire downstairs of our home! Will continue to use him for our home & rental properties
