Bristol House Painting

Bristol House Painting is a small family-run firm of professional exterior house painters based in Bristol. It specialises in exterior house painting, fence painting and wall painting, and undertakes both residential and commercial work. The business is owned and managed by brothers John and Mark Harrison, who have worked in domestic and commercial building services for nearly 20 years.

Bristol House Painting is a trading name of Cleansheen Ltd. It serves clients within a 15-mile radius of Bristol, including Clevedon, Portishead, Keynsham, Bath, Thornbury and Yate. The firm holds IPAF high access accreditation, a Safe Working Certificate in occupational safety and risk assessment, and full public liability insurance. Every job is guaranteed. Preparation accounts for up to 75% of its work, which includes removing unsightly stains, sanding down flaking paint, repairing minor cracks and sealing surfaces to keep out damp.

Bristol House Painting carries out exterior repainting and guttering renewal on houses across Bristol, work that reviewers describe as thorough and neatly finished. Several customers highlight the quality of the preparation and the care taken to protect windows, doors and floors before painting begins, with any mess cleared away at the end of each day and after completion. Punctuality and reliability come up often: teams arrive when they say they will, keep the household informed about the expected day and time, and finish within the agreed span, sometimes fitting jobs in at short notice.

Communication is repeatedly praised from the first enquiry through to the final walk-round. Reviewers call the pricing reasonable for the standard achieved, and the finished exteriors are said to transform the appearance of older properties, including thirties semis. Mark and John are named for their friendliness, as are the wider team, who are described as polite and easy to have around. The range of work mentioned includes repainting house fronts and full exteriors, renewing guttering, and covering windows and doors to prevent spillages, with customers noting the results still look fresh months later.
