What customers say
Based on genuine customer reviews
A dispute over pricing forms the substance of the single account available for this Cambridge operator, based on Mulberry Close and listed for interior decorating, painting and wallpaper installation. A fixed price was said to have been agreed before the work started, but the decorator reportedly later claimed the figure had actually been a daily rate, while progress on site was described as slow.
The completed work was also said not to match the specification originally discussed. The disagreement reportedly became serious enough that formal dispute resolution was required to settle it. No working hours are published for the business.

It is difficult to find reliable decorators in Cambridge, but I would recommend choosing someone else. We agreed a fixed price for the job in advance, but during the work the decorator later tried to argue that the quoted amount was actually a daily rate while the work was progressing very slowly. The work also did not follow the agreed specification. The situation became so difficult that I had to use formal dispute resolution for the first time. The dispute resolution service ultimately ordered a partial refund in my favour, which was paid. However, I also received aggressive messages from the decorator during the process. Overall, this was an extremely stressful and unpleasant experience that I would strongly advise others to avoid.
