CMC Decorators

CMC Decorators is a family-run painting and decorating company that has been operating since 2012. It works on residential and commercial decorating projects locally in Hull, throughout the UK and Europe. The company is a SAFE approved contractor, and all its painters and decorators hold appropriate CSCS cards suited to their skill set. It is a member of the British Painting and Decorating Association, and all its decorators are City & Guilds trained.

CMC Decorators operates a fully equipped spray booth and drying areas. It completed decoration works for Miniso UK in London, including tape and jointing, and decoration to walls and ceilings sprayed using airless spray. It completed domestic internal decoration in Hull and the East Riding area using Dulux and Farrow and Ball paints, and applied wallpaper. It sprayed the exterior of houses using airless spray for a higher quality finish.

It worked on new store concepts for Waterstones using traditional hand painted methods with Dulux paints, with floor restoration to various stores. CMC Decorators offers residential decorating services, including a free consultation and quotation. It offers complete commercial decorating services across many sectors, specialising as contract decorators, working alongside large construction sites, and fit out companies. It applies any type of wall covering for commercial and domestic jobs.

Preparation and finish emerge as the themes customers return to most often in feedback on CMC Decorators. Several reviewers describe the care taken before any paint is applied, with surfaces prepared thoroughly and the final result matching that initial effort. Exterior work features prominently, covering homes and a church, alongside interior rooms and kitchen spaces, while wallpaper hanging is also singled out. One client notes a bespoke project handled with skill. Reviewers frequently point to how tidy the team leaves the workspace, with protection and clean-up treated as part of the job.

Communication and advice are praised, particularly where customers had specific specifications in mind and found the decorators listened and offered guidance. Reliability shows through accounts of work continuing in difficult weather, and one customer recalls help in sourcing a scaffolding company. The crew is described as courteous and pleasant to have on site, with the same team returning for further rooms. Attention to detail, from trim to ceiling lines, is a recurring point, and reviewers note that the standard set at the start is maintained through to completion, whether the task is a single living room or the full exterior of a house.
