D.G. Gyles Plastering

We needed a room plastering and called Dave as he was local to us. He came round that day and gave a quote for the job which we were happy with The job was done the following week and to a very high standard Dave was also very professional and friendly Many thanks

We recently had a lath & plaster ceiling start to sag and threaten to collapse on us & Dave came to the rescue. Dave promptly visited us to look at the problem and he returned 48 hours later to fix it for us. We were delighted with his work and would recommend him to anyone.

Saw previous reviews for Dave and was not disappointed. Quoted a fair price and carried out a highly professional job skimming the walls of a bedroom . Very tidy worker with a wealth of knowledge in his trade. Dave even fixed a light for me that wasn’t working. No hesitation in recommending him.

Very pleased with the work…. 5 ceilings skimmed to cover deep pattern artex. Dave arrived on time and worked methodically and professionally achieving great results. At the end of each day he left the room clean and useable. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time Dave has boarded a ceiling and skimmed a whole room for us - so that should tell you something. Dave is a quality tradesmen who has an in-depth knowledge of plastering. He is punctual, communicative and trustworthy. I have no hesitation in recommending him...

Dave was professional from the initial phone call to cleaning the room he plastered. He was extremely knowledgeable on his first visit to give us a quote and suggested a couple of things we hadn't thought about. On the day he turned up at the time he said, he covered the whole room and when finished you wouldn't have known he had been there, exceptionally clean worker. The plastered finish was faultless and we were very happy we had asked Dave to do the work. I will definitely recommend Dave to friends and family. Thanks alot Dave.

Dave completed our first ceiling ok but on inviting him back to do a further 3 we were left with many imperfections. Dave refused to return to make good. I would not recommend. Dave, have just read your response. You were at our neighbours when I contacted you and you called in. We showed you the imperfections on the ceilings and you flatly refused to make good stating it was the painter’s job and you couldn’t possibly be expected to return to correct work.
