Dab & Skim Plasterers

I needed a plasterer fairly quickly with a couple in mind after Google search. This guy came up Trumps with cost and workmanship by did he graft.. 10/10 Mark.. 👍

I can highly recommend Mark at Dab and Skim Plasterers we had a large living room and hallway ceilings covered in artex both of them uneven due to past removal of supporting wall Mark somehow managed to board a skim them both to make them both perfectly flat with a finish like glass he is clearly a very experienced and competent plasterer and really pleasant and easy to get on with he just gets on with the job at hand and clearly takes pride in his work striving for perfection and definitely achieving it i would not hesitate to have Mark back to do any future work and can highly recommend him to anyone else needing any plastering doing

Fantastic job in replastering my living room. The old thick wallpaper when removed revealed multiple issues with the walls to a point that I was considering just putting thick new wallpaper back over them. Instead however the walls were replastered and an exemplary and thorough job carried out, allaying any fears that one job just wouldn't have been enough to make good the walls, Cheers Mark

I can’t recommend DAB and Skim Plasterers highly enough! Mark did a fantastic job for us at the weekend after a leaking shower caused damage to our lounge ceiling. The work involved repairing a couple of damaged patches, boarding the entire lounge ceiling, and then skimming it to a flawless finish. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding – the ceiling now looks absolutely perfect, and you’d never know there had ever been any damage.

Mark did a brilliant job with my dining room ceiling, the finish was smooth and it looks great. I've used a few plasterers over the years and he's been the cleanest and tidiest by far. He tidied up before he left so there wasn't alot of cleaning for me to do. I would have given a 5 star but the job was meant to be done in a day but took two days as he was working on another job at the same time. That being said, the final result looks good and I would definitely recommend him.

We recently had our hall, stairs, landing and a bedroom plastered and couldn’t be happier with the result. The standard of work is excellent, with a really smooth, clean finish throughout. He was reliable, turned up exactly when he said he would, and worked in a tidy and professional way from start to finish. Everything was well protected and left clean at the end of each day. Good communication throughout and clearly takes pride in his work. I’d happily recommend him to anyone looking for a quality plasterer and will definitely be using him again in the future.

Nothing but the highest praise for Mark and I had 40+ years in property management as a Chartered Surveyor so have got high standards. Had an emergency job on my lock up shop after the flat roof had been re-felted. Mark gave us an overnight quote after we sent him photos and then confirmed the price next day when I met him there. He was able to start almost straight away and worked over Saturday and Sunday to get the job finished. Refixed the plastic ceiling cladding over new plasterboard sheets, and refixed 2 lights that had come down with the ceiling - and left the job clean and tidy and on time. It was great to deal with someone having such a positive can-do attitude.
