This is the second job James has done for us, and once again we’re really happy with how it turned out. Our living room was well overdue for an update, and to get it done properly we needed the external walls boarded with insulated plasterboard, the remaining walls done in acoustic plasterboard, and the chimney breast widened. James gave us a fair quote, showed up when he said he would, and did a great job from start to finish. The finish looks fantastic, even the guy fitting our alcove cupboards mentioned how good the plastering was. We’d happily recommend James and will definitely be using him again in the future.

Have used James’s plastering services a few times. He is always polite and very conscientious. He plastered two ceilings for me this time and, as always did an excellent job. James recently plastered our kitchen/diner and did some patching up for us around the rest of our house following a rewire. This is the first time we have used James and we booked him in purely based on the reviews he already has. We are so glad we did! He is incredibly skilled, professional, reliable and trustworthy. An incredibly skilled plasterer with the most professional attitude and work ethic I’ve ever seen in someone who works in the trades industry. James has plasterboarded and skimmed all the ceilings in our 3 bedroom house, including the cupboards. He even added extra wood to our floorboard area to ensure the plasterboard was sufficiently attached to the underside - such quality! Communication was excellent from the start to finish - first contacting JPS months before completion of the house purchase. James even started his work upstairs then in the kitchen so that we could move into our new home quicker :) He is punctual, detailed, tidy, extremely hard working and very polite. There was no standing around for smoke breaks, no wasting time - just right to work and extremely efficient at it!
