JR40 Plastering Ltd

Great guys - a good team who got stuck into the job, without wasting time, chatting and spending loads of time on their phones. It was a fantastic job. The rendering has given the front of our house a great face lift, we even look like we have new windows. I would totally recommend JR40 plastering for any jobs. They were punctual, very knowledgeable and thorough in their work.

James and Richard did an excellent job repairing the gable end of my rendered cottage that was cracked and leaking rainwater. They arranged for the rotted timber lintel to be replaced and then made good the rendering. The new Tyrolean finish is indistinguishable from the undamaged render. All finished off with two coats of Dulux Weathershield. To be recommended!

James and his team plaster skimmed my 2 bed terrace apart from the kitchen. James was very easy to deal with and always available when I needed to contact him. He always kept me up to date as to how things were going and let me know which days the guys were coming. As regards the job the quality of the plastering was excellent, smooth and flat. All corners and angles were finished off neatly. The adjacent surfaces such as windows and mantelpieces were cleaned afterwards leaving no plaster residue. Any joints or cracks in the under plaster were taped as were the junctions between the walls and ceilings to avoid cracking. All floors were swept afterwards and rubbish was packed neatly in the old plaster bags as I said I was happy to get rid of it. So to summarise, easy to deal with, good quality job and left things neat and tidy. Thank you James and your team for doing a great job.

Honest and polite service . Really nice job of the walls and ceiling, they look great and fitted us in for some last minute work in another room as well with no hassle. Would highly recommend

The guys came to do the monocouche of my newly constructed bungalow front :) They did an amazing job; and when the electricians slightly damaged the finish when putting up my lights, James came back and fixed the issue - you wouldn't know there had been a fix-job done :) I was a little uncertain at first of the colour, but James explained that it would lighten off when the monocouche dried; and he was absolutely right. I am so pleased with the finish, it really makes the windows and door stand out (Picture is just after it was done - I believe he will be taking a picture shortly when the weather improves 🤔 to add to the website). Thanks so much - would highly recommend.

Well what can I say, James and his team carried out work for us 2 years ago and we were so impressed with their workmanship that we decided to get James & his team back to carry out further renovations on our house. Without fail James exceeded expectations and delivered a high quality finish that has transformed the look of the house. On top of this James project managed the whole organisation of the other traders with getting them booked in, while also keeping in frequent contact to check on progress. I cannot recommend James and the other traders enough and would happily invite them back for any future work. Thank you Josh
