Preparation work stripping multiple layers of old paint from doors, stairs and skirting, followed by careful painting of freshly plastered walls, is described as thorough by clients of Painting And Decorating Contractors Ltd, based at the Pembroke Centre in Swindon. A neat finish and close attention to small details come up repeatedly across accounts of both single rooms and full-house projects.

Several reviewers name Richie and Phil directly, describing the pair and their team as professional, polite and particular in how they approach each stage of a job. Keeping the workspace clean and tidy while work is underway is mentioned more than once as a notable feature of the service, alongside a consistently high standard maintained across repeat projects for the same client over several years.

The firm is listed under construction and interior contracting in addition to painting, pointing to a remit that extends beyond simple redecoration into broader home improvement work. Feedback describes a methodical approach, with preparation treated as seriously as the finishing coats, and properties left in good order once the job is complete. Clients describe a team capable of handling substantial transformations, from stripped woodwork to newly plastered surfaces, all coordinated from the company's Swindon base.
