On Barkston Grove in Acomb, Paul J Russell's decorating business has built a strong reputation across almost ten years of work covering interior redecoration, exterior painting and general home refreshes. Homeowners in several reviews describe the team, including Liam and Ben alongside Paul, as punctual, polite and efficient, with jobs finished on time and to a consistently high standard. A point raised often is the tidiness kept throughout projects, with rooms and outdoor spaces left clean once finished.

Reviewers mention repainting exterior windows, doors and a carport, as well as room refreshes following bathroom and cloakroom installations, pointing to a team equally at ease with interior finishing and exterior upkeep. Communication is repeatedly praised, with clients noting how easy the business is to reach and how well informed they are kept as work proceeds.

Finish quality is another recurring theme, with a superb outcome noted on exterior joinery and a fantastic look achieved in redecorated rooms after the team took time to understand personal taste. Several long-standing customers mention returning to the business repeatedly over the years for various jobs around the home. With opening hours running from 8am to 9pm every day, including weekends, scheduling work around Acomb and the wider York area is made considerably easier.
