The Painting Specialist

The Painting Specialist was set up in 1997 and is managed by Mark Rice. The company has over 20 years of experience and has been helping people in London with painting and decorating needs for over 20 years. Its customers include English Heritage and many private clients.

The company is located in Kilburn, London. It offers painting and decorating, wallpaper hanging, domestic decorating, commercial decorating, exterior decorating, and interior decorating. The company handles any property anywhere in London and does interior and exterior work from one room to a front door.

Flat and room repaints across north-west London form the backbone of the work customers describe, with Mark named again and again as the tradesman on site. Several accounts note the standard of the finish and the care taken over detail, whether the job was a single living room or a whole flat. Punctuality and reliability come up often, alongside a fair and clearly stated price agreed in advance rather than adjusted afterwards.

Tidiness is a recurring theme: dust and waste are managed, and the property is left spotless at the close of each working day. Several customers comment on how knowledgeable Mark is and how readily he offers advice, including recommending an electrician for related work. His manner is described as friendly and easy to live alongside during the project, and he is praised for making the process straightforward from the first conversation to the final coat.

Even a separate contractor working alongside him remarked on how good he was to deal with. Paint stripping and interior decorating feature among the services taken on, and the same high standard is reported whether the work was in Kilburn, Cricklewood or West Hampstead. Praise centres on the finish achieved through sustained time and effort.
