THG Plastering

THG Plastering is a local business based in Anlaby Common, East Yorkshire, and has been trading since 2020. It has completed many projects for clients across the Yorkshire region. The company offers all aspects of plastering, from small patching repairs to full house renovations, to both the residential and commercial sectors. It always visits a potential project before supplying a quotation. THG Plastering is fully insured and all work is guaranteed. A testimonial refers to a worker named Dave.

On Hawkshead Green in Hull, THG Plastering has built a strong local following for ceiling repairs and full room plastering. Dave is named consistently as the tradesman carrying out the work, whether reboarding and skimming a hallway ceiling after a bathroom leak, replastering a full kitchen that had badly deteriorated artex, or attending the same evening to secure a dropped ceiling in a 1933 property before returning the next day to finish the job properly.

A point that comes up often is his punctuality, friendliness and clear communication, paired with neat, sharp corners and little mess left on surrounding paintwork or flooring. Awkward jobs involving curved ceilings and angled rooms are described as handled confidently and to a high standard, and more than one customer notes that pricing stayed reasonable and within budget.

Several accounts mention being comfortable leaving a key for access while out at work, and repeat bookings feature strongly, with households returning for additional rooms after an initial project. One customer preparing a hallway for wallpapering afterwards specifically praised the crisp, clean finish left ready for the next trade to begin. The business lists availability every day of the week, useful for households needing repairs organised around unexpected issues such as leaks or ageing plasterwork in older Hull homes.
