York Plastering and Cornice Specialists LTD

York Plastering & Cornice Specialists provide the best quality service within the Yorkshire region. Brian has shown himself to be a reliable / trustworthy individual who has completed many jobs, to the highest standard over the last 10 years. Whether is was a simple skimming job in one room or a complete dot dab plasterboard for a whole house, he was always happy to come & quote. His cornice work must also be applauded as severe water damage in a Victorian Period property of mine did not deter him....You could not even tell what part was original & what he had replaced! I always ensure to pass his details to all family / friends / work colleagues & would recommend that anyone reading this review can contact him without any hesitation. Thank You

Brian was extremely professional, the coving work he did for us was exceptional quality, giving a great finish. 5* Highly recommend

Brian not only came out to Hornsea from York to fix our cornice, but did a brilliant swift job. We had to take down a third of the cornice to replace rotted timbers. He arrived at 7:30am and had finished by 1:30pm, tidied up and left the place clean as a whistle. Can’t rate him highly enough for restoring our Edwardian cornice. Top bloke, top job.

From the very first consultation, it was clear that Brian has an exceptional eye for detail and a deep understanding of traditional plasterwork. They helped us choose the right cornice style to suit our period property, then crafted and installed it with absolute precision. Every joint is seamless, every curve perfectly crisp — true craftsmanship that completely transforms the room. They were punctual, professional, and left everything spotless at the end of each day. It’s rare to find someone who combines traditional plastering skills with such care and modern professionalism. We’re thrilled with the finished look and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Brian and his team to anyone wanting beautiful, high-quality cornice or decorative plasterwork. Simply excellent work from start to finish.

This is the second time we have used Brian and it certainly won't be the last. He always does an amazing job, he always shows up on time and works hard and neatly. We have a whole house to renovate and finding a reliable tradesman is always a struggle but with Brian that has never been a concern.

We’ve just had Brian fit us some plaster coving at our house. He has done an excellent job with no mess whatsoever. We would recommend him to others. Jason Wong.

Brian has done a superb job plastering our future living room. He provided really useful, friendly advice when he came to quote for the work. We have a new fireplace that needed protecting carefully and this was no problem. 100% recommend Brian for high quality work.
