Baxter's Decorating Service York

Baxter's Decorating Service is a family-run painting and decorating business based in Yorkshire. The business is family-owned and operated and has years of experience in the painting and decorating industry. It serves York, Leeds and Sheffield. Services include interior and exterior painting, wallpaper installation and decorative finishes. Decorative finishes offered include wallpaper hanging, faux finishes, murals and custom textures.

Six days a week, from eight in the morning until six in the evening, this Speculation Street firm in York takes on both interior and exterior painting work, judging by the jobs its clients describe. James is named for redecorating a hallway that had suffered peeling caused by poor wall preparation left behind after a previous occupant stripped wallpaper, and he later returned to the same household to repaint a master bedroom, with each project completed within a fortnight or so once underway.

Tim is credited separately with repainting a pair of upper floor windows, with careful prep work and close attention to detail singled out, along with a readiness to answer questions as the job progressed. A reasonable quote is mentioned by one client, and jobs are described as finished on schedule and within the agreed budget.

Demand appears strong, since a wait of a couple of months before work can begin is flagged by one reviewer, suggesting the team keeps a busy diary. Recurring points across the feedback include thorough preparation before any paint goes on, professional handling of enquiries and scheduling, and consistency in sticking to costs set out at quoting stage. More than one client has returned for further jobs, reflecting trust built over repeat visits to this York-based operation on Speculation Street.
