Additionally, it specialises in painting and decorating new build houses. Out-of-hours services are offered.

Full interior refurbishments involving several rooms at once make up much of the work described for BH Painters & Decorators, based in Tilehurst on the western side of Reading. Brian, frequently joined by Trevor, is named throughout the feedback, covering lounges, hallways, staircases and conservatories, together with exterior work across entire house fronts and papering jobs in kitchens and bathrooms.

A point raised more than once is how competitive the pricing proved after comparing several companies beforehand, with the quotes given standing out as good value. Reliability and tidiness are mentioned consistently, with the pair arriving as arranged, clearing up thoroughly once finished and, on occasion, completing jobs faster than expected. A friendly, obliging manner runs through the comments, including a willingness to answer questions before work even begins.

Several customers note having called on the business again for later projects and passing the name on to friends and relatives, suggesting a steady base of repeat custom. The scope of work spans both painting and wallpapering, giving a fairly broad service for those tackling more than one room or surface type. Trading hours are notably generous, running daily from eight or nine in the morning through to seven in the evening, including weekends, making scheduling straightforward for households with limited availability during the working week.
