BraBen Plastering & Rendering

BraBen Plastering & Rendering is a plastering and rendering company based in the Nottinghamshire area, with over 30 years of experience in the East Midlands. Scott and Scott Lewis are associated with the business. It is an approved applicator for Fassa rendering systems and a sponsor of Raising Smiles, a charity for poorly children in hospital.

The company offers plaster skimming, Artex covering, plasterboarding, ceiling repairs and replacement, coving, dot & dab, repairs & patching, float & set, doorway blocking/closing off, and stud wall insulation. It specialises in all areas of rendering, including Monocouche, K-rend, traditional render, pebble dash & stucco, spray rendering (silicone rendering, EWI & internal spraying), and a spray and go service for the trade.

Across Nottingham, plastering and rendering jobs are handled with a level of care that brings clients back for further rooms, and Scott and his team are frequently named in those accounts. A point made in several accounts is the standard of the finish, whether a whole house is skimmed, a spare room replastered, a fireplace built in and boarded, or old render removed and replaced with something stronger and neater. Reliability and punctuality are mentioned just as regularly: the crews turn up when agreed, work steadily through the day and keep homeowners updated, with quotes and bookings dealt with quickly.

Clear, honest communication is described by several customers as a rare find in the trade, alongside useful suggestions and advice given at the quoting stage. Tidiness runs through the feedback too, with protection put in place before work starts, dust sheets used and all rubbish taken away. The men are called polite, friendly and considerate of belongings and timings, and the finished surfaces are repeatedly described as precise and detailed. Fair pricing for the quality achieved is another common theme, with Rob, Liam and Luke also singled out for their part in the work.
