Cotton Painting Co.

In Leith and across Edinburgh, Zak of Cotton Painting Co. has built a following through repeat work and word-of-mouth referrals. Several customers describe him as their go-to painter, returning for interior decorating, exterior painting and wooden window sills long after the first job, and a detail many reviews return to is his reliability: he turns up when he says he will, works steadily through the week and finishes what he starts. Several accounts note the standard of the finish, with sharp lines, careful preparation of kitchens before painting and no rough edges, alongside advice shared during the work.

He is described as friendly, easy to communicate with when arranging jobs, punctual and professional, with fair and reasonable pricing for the time and effort involved. Beyond painting, accounts mention a fence built, a patio laid and a kitchen splashback tiled, showing a willingness to take on varied work. Tidiness and a methodical approach are noted, as is the clear explanation of each stage. Customers who hired him for a full flat before moving in, or for repeat visits over months and years, highlight the same dependable service and enthusiasm for getting the details right.
