Services include interior decorating, exterior decorating, wallpaper hanging, wood protection, and colour consultancy.

The company's work includes family bathrooms and full office refurbishments. Preparation involves filling, sanding, priming, and caulking before applying a topcoat. A free, no-obligation quotation is provided, usually involving a quick visit and a written price. The company provides a clear written quotation and runs jobs to agreed dates. Floors are protected and fittings covered, and everything is tidied before leaving.

Reliability and careful workmanship recur throughout the feedback for this York decorating firm, with customers consistently highlighting the standard of the finished result. Charlie Buckle, trading as CWB Decorators, is named repeatedly for arriving promptly, working around clients' schedules and keeping them informed about progress and available options. Projects described include painting vaulted ceilings in a barn conversion near Low Catton, refreshing multiple rooms together with ceilings and skirting boards, and decorating two separate properties at short notice.

Several accounts mention that surfaces left messy by previous owners were handled with precision, with no stray paint on switches or trim. Pricing is described as fair and matching the fixed quotes originally given, and reviewers note that communication before and during the work was quick and clear. Charlie's manner is frequently praised as friendly, pleasant and conscientious, with one client describing him as trustworthy and keen to ensure satisfaction. An apprentice working alongside him is also mentioned positively. The recurring theme across the feedback is a professional, efficient service that clients return to, with repeat bookings already arranged for further decorating work.
