Fine Line Plastering

Fine Line Plastering is a plastering company based in Glasgow with over 25 years of experience in the plastering industry. It serves Glasgow and the surrounding areas, and works with homeowners, businesses, and developers. The company employs a team of 50 expert workers and has completed 150 successful projects. Its services include internal plastering, external rendering, skimming and re-skimming, ceiling replacements, drylining, dot n dab, rough casting, drywall installation and repair, cornices and decorative plasterwork, and plaster repairs.

Flats and houses across Rutherglen have called on this plastering firm for water-damaged ceilings, cracked and sagging plasterboard, and collapsed lath and plaster. Thomas, also known as Tommy, is named time and again, praised for arriving promptly to assess and quote, fitting jobs into a busy schedule and completing the work with a speed that customers describe as impressive. The finishes are consistently described as flawless and of high quality, whether the task involved replacing boards and skimming a kitchen ceiling, applying bonding coat and finishing plaster over a large living room, or repairing plasterwork in a four-storey common stairwell after new windows went in.

Reviews regularly refer to how carefully the surroundings were protected, with decorative cornices preserved, a ceiling rose fitted, floors mopped and all debris bagged and removed. Pricing is described as fair and reasonable, particularly when work was needed at short notice. Communication before, during and after the job is another theme, as is the friendly, professional manner of Thomas and his apprentice, who worked considerately around other trades on site. Several accounts note that botched plastering elsewhere was put right, leaving walls and ceilings looking immaculate.
