HS Plastering

HS Plastering is a plastering company based in Cambridge that is endorsed by Which?. It covers Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and North London. The company offers internal plasterboarding, skimming, external monocouche, silicone and sand/cement rendering, along with damp proofing, tanking and mould proofing services.

It also provides sound proofing, floor levelling, screeding, dry lining, internal wall insulation and external wall insulation EWI systems. Free quotes and paid surveys are available to diagnose damp or mould problems. Customer reviews name Harrison as carrying out work for HS Plastering, with Roger named as working alongside him. During preparation, the company uses protective rolls to cover carpets and walls.

Across Cambridge, HS Plastering has built a strong local following for ceiling and wall skimming, chimney breast removal and artex stripping, including work involving asbestos concerns that required particular care. Harrison is named individually in nearly every account, with customers describing him as punctual, friendly and thorough throughout each project. Something that features in review after review is the speed of response, with quotes and start dates typically arranged within a day or two of enquiry.

Finished surfaces are frequently praised for being left smooth and neat, and attention to detail is highlighted even on more demanding jobs such as full room replasters or wall removals. Keeping clients informed as work progresses is another recurring theme, alongside a tidy approach that leaves little mess behind once a job is complete.

Several customers note that pricing feels fair given the scope and difficulty of the work involved, particularly on jobs requiring extra care or specialist removal. Repeat bookings feature regularly, with clients returning for additional rooms after an initial project, and word of mouth through friends and family appears to be a common way people find the business. With no fixed limits on opening hours, HS Plastering appears able to accommodate work ranging from a single bedroom ceiling to larger structural plastering jobs across the city.
