J.Ellis & son Professional Painting & Decorating

On Regina Street in Stoke-on-Trent, Jamie (also referred to as Jay in several accounts) has built a strong local reputation for interior decorating covering living rooms, bedrooms, door frames and skirting boards. A point made in several accounts is punctuality, with customers noting he arrives when arranged and keeps to the timescale discussed at quotation stage.

Cleanliness during and after the job is mentioned repeatedly, with rooms left spotless and dust kept to a minimum even during longer projects lasting several days. More than one homeowner describes clear, ongoing communication throughout the work, including updates on progress and advice on paint choices and pricing options before committing to a job. Attention to detail is another theme, with reviewers highlighting careful cutting-in and a high standard of finish on walls and ceilings.

One client left the property for a week during works and returned to find everywhere tidy and the decorating completed to a high standard, which speaks to the trust placed in the service. Repeat custom features strongly, with multiple reviewers stating they would use the business again for future rooms. The business operates long hours across the week, including Sundays until 5pm, making it accessible for those wanting quotes or work fitted around busier weekday schedules.
