KB PLASTERING

KB Plastering is a family-run business that has been operating for over 35 years. The team has over 50 years of combined experience. Kris is the contact person. The company is UKATA registered, CSCS registered, a member of the Federation of Master Builders, and CHAS registered. It does not use subcontractors and has a fully insured in-house team.

KB Plastering has worked with Redrow Homes, Markden City Homes, Tyson Construction, Bartholomew Homes, Novus Group, and Plus Dane Group. It has worked on BBC’s DIY SOS. KB Plastering serves Bolton, Bury, Hale, Alderley Edge, and Cheshire. Services include traditional solid plastering, dry lining, suspended ceilings, ceiling trays and coffer ceilings, metal ceilings and partitions, specialist render systems, lightweight structural steel framing, and damp proof course.

Cleanliness and precision are what homeowners most often single out when describing KB Plastering, based out of a unit in Bolton and run by Kris. Multiple reviews mention the team, including a colleague named Nathan, leaving properties spotless despite messy jobs such as re-skimming and suspended ceiling work, with dust sheets and thorough clean-ups noted as standard practice rather than an afterthought.

Punctuality features consistently, with the team arriving when they say they will and working efficiently around household or business routines, including one commercial client who needed disruption minimised around opening hours. The finish itself draws consistent praise, described as smooth and flawless on media walls, kitchens, bathrooms and full room re-plasters, with attention to detail called out repeatedly. Kris is credited with explaining the process clearly before quoting and, in at least one case, helping coordinate other trades such as a painter and plumber to keep a renovation moving.

Several clients mention using the company more than once across different rooms or projects, a pattern that reflects confidence in the consistency of the work. The business operates weekday mornings through to late afternoon, with an earlier finish on Fridays and no weekend hours, and continues to be called on for kitchen, bathroom and general interior plastering across Bolton.
