Local Painter and Decorators Sheffield Hillsborough has been decorating homes in Hillsborough and nearby villages such as Wortley for a number of years, with Richard named consistently as the person carrying out the work. Several accounts note his thoroughness and willingness to give honest guidance on colours and finishes, together with clear, fairly priced quotes given soon after a first enquiry.

Jobs described include a full redecoration ahead of selling a property, work in a kitchen and dining room following an extension, wallpaper hanging, and repainting exterior woodwork, with each project generally finished within the timescale agreed at the outset. Tidiness on site is noted frequently, and several clients describe him or his team fitting around household routines, including shift work and pets in the home.

Communication comes up often too, with people describing him as easy to get hold of and consistent about doing what was promised. A number of customers say they have called on him more than once over the years for different rooms, each time reporting the same standard of finish. The listing shows availability every day of the week with no set closing time, which appears to have suited people arranging visits and quotes at short notice around Hillsborough.
