The company is approved by the Safe Contractor Scheme, CHAS and Construction Line. MPS Painting Contractors has over 24 years' experience and has worked with large clients. Martin Sellick is a director. MPS Painting Contractors was featured in an article in Painting & Decorating News relating to the successful use of Bradite One Can.

M P S Painting Contractors serves a client base of private homeowners, property developers and commercial site managers across Northampton and further afield. Several accounts note reliability, with jobs consistently finished on time and within the agreed budget, a theme running through both residential and contract work. Martin is named often as heading the team, offering guidance on suitable paint types for different homes, including one full internal repaint completed while the family continued living in the property.

Commercial clients describe external refurbishments carried out with no disruption to operational premises, alongside hoarding and bespoke railing work where a finish beyond standard powder coating was needed. Communication comes up frequently too, with updates and planning said to run smoothly from the initial quote through to completion.

Several clients mention using the firm across multiple projects, continuing to rank it among their preferred contractors regardless of the size or setting of the job. Repeat commercial contracts and longstanding residential relationships both feature in the feedback, with more than one reviewer describing years of ongoing collaboration. Tidiness and careful preparation are also raised by several customers, reinforcing the sense of a contractor equally at home on domestic properties and larger site-based work throughout the Northampton area.
