Martin Kibble

Martin Kibble is a painter and decorator based in Marston, Oxford, with over 27 years of experience in the trade. He completed an apprenticeship and holds a City and Guilds qualification in painting and decorating, and holds Public Liability Insurance up to £2,000,000. He serves residential and commercial clients across Oxford, North Oxford, Summertown, Headington, and surrounding Oxfordshire areas.

Work is carried out using Farrow and Ball, Dulux Trade, and Fired Earth paints, or any brand of the customer's choice. He offers advice and guidance on colour choice and design. Main services are interior painting, decorating, wallpapering, and hand-painted kitchen cabinet services. A standard kitchen cabinet hand-painting transformation takes 4 to 5 days on average.

Wallpapering and interior painting in Oxford recur as the core of the work, with reviewers describing rooms, hallways and whole houses that Martin Kibble and his team have decorated. A theme that comes up often is the standard of the finish, whether paper is being hung or walls and ceilings painted, and several customers describe the preparation and attention to detail as careful from start to finish. Reliability and punctuality are mentioned repeatedly, alongside clear communication before and during the job, including during periods when consultation had to be handled with extra care.

Customers note that he works quietly and unobtrusively, arriving when agreed and leaving the property clean, with nothing needing to be tidied afterwards. His advice and understanding of what a client wants are praised, as is the friendliness of the decorators who worked alongside him. Larger projects covering an entire house are described as organised and coordinated with other trades running at the same time, and smaller wallpapering jobs receive the same level of care. Trustworthiness, honesty and fair dealing run through the accounts, with long-standing clients returning for further painting and decorating.
