We first spotted Mister Smiths Interiors on the Interior Design Masters show on BBC. It looks every bit as lush in person as it did on the show. The shop has a gorgeous selection of fabrics, wallpaper and carpets on offer. We purchased a selection of wallpaper for our home renovation project. We received excellent guidance from Saskia on how much we would require as well as help with finding a good colour match for the walls and panelling. We are very pleased with the results.

I came in for interior design advice and colour consultation for for my new basement flat. Helen really took the trouble to find out what I liked and the sort of style I was after and pointed me in the right direction of some beautiful and vibrant velvet fabrics which was exactly what I was looking for! Helen's expertise helped me choose some great choices giving me so much confidence and a great scheme. Really looking forward to our next meeting

Have visited here twice in an attempt to discuss redecorating our house. The first time we were largely ignored until I asked if it was best we book an appointment. There were other customers already having a consultation so gave the benefit of doubt and resolved to visit another day. Today my partner and I decided to pop in as we passed the shop and I greeted the lady at the counter who again ignored me. I said hello again and she maintained eye contact for several seconds without a response and made a facial expression that implied I was bothering her. Eventually she explained that she was currently helping another customer which I again had no issue with. When my partner arrived I told him not to bother them with our custom so we took photos of the wallpaper we liked and are currently purchasing it online as we sit in the cafe next door. Do better, Mister Smith Interiors. Courtesy costs nothing.

Rude and unwelcoming. As someone starting out in the business of Interior Design I entered Mister Smiths full of awe and admiration for the beautiful décor and looking forward to building a professional connection to suit us both for years to come. I was greeted with big smiles upon entering however as soon as I explained that I was looking to collect just samples today (with the view to bigger purchases later on) I was instantly made to feel completely ridiculous for even entertaining the idea of entering. The person I spoke with was condescending to say the least. I wont be using Mister Smiths for any of my future projects. Check your attitude - its not all about immediate profit. Most people like to trade with manners and human decency. Snobbery will only get you so far...
