Pastilles Painting And Decorating

Pastilles Painting And Decorating is a family business formed in 1998 by Sam's late mother Sue, and passed down to Sam nine years ago. The company specialises in HVLP spraying and provides services in Hampshire, Southampton and many other local locations. It is fully insured and Health and Safety certified, and offers eco-focused decorating services.

It takes on all types of jobs from small domestic work to larger commercial projects. Main services include traditional painting and decorating, interior and exterior painting, commercial painting and decorating, sanding and varnishing, spray painting, furniture painting, and wallpapering.

Sam, together with Sarah and the wider team, emerges from the feedback as the trusted constant behind the decorating work customers describe. Interior painting dominates the reported projects: living rooms, kitchens, halls, staircases and landings, internal doors, a compact toilet room and a sprayed rental entrance all feature. Reviewers repeatedly praise the standard of finish, singling out sprayed doors and extra coats applied because the team judged them necessary.

Punctuality and reliability are common threads, as is the offer to return for any snagging once surfaces had dried. Tidiness also stands out, with floors cleaned and hoovered at the close of each working day. Customers mention guidance on colours and small details that lifted the finished look, and a change of colour requested at short notice being absorbed without fuss.

Quotations are described as clearly explained and reasonable for the work involved, with pricing called fair rather than merely cheap. Communication before and after the job is commended, with calls and messages answered promptly. Friendly, hard-working and professional are words that come up again and again, whether the job was a first flat, a townhouse with awkward high areas or a rental property. Sprayed staircases and gloss work on doors remain the most frequently cited examples.
