S.E Davey Plastering is a well-established plastering business in Cambridge with over 34 years of experience. The business is run by qualified tradesmen with over 30 years experience. Cambridge-based S.E Davey Plastering draws repeated praise for the standard of its plastering and the orderly way jobs are handled. Steve and Jamie are named often, with reviewers describing them as punctual, professional and personable, and many remark that they arrived when promised and left the property clean and tidy afterwards. The work described spans skimming ceilings, fitting coving, damp proofing internal walls, rendering an extension and external hard-wall rendering, plus a patch to a hole that blended in seamlessly.

A fair quote given before work starts is mentioned regularly, alongside clear communication from beginning to end. Customers note a smooth, flat finish across large areas, and say both men take visible pride in completing the job properly, with one returning for two full buildings over a couple of years.

Reliability, skill with traditional plastering methods and a considerate presence on site recur throughout, and this has built long-standing relationships. Those who have used the firm on renovation projects highlight the breadth of work undertaken, from ceilings and coving to exterior rendering, and the steady quality across each task, with particular appreciation for how carefully floors and furnishings are protected while work is in progress. Long-standing clients describe the same dependable approach on every visit.
