Shaun is singled out in feedback for a meticulous approach and for not considering a task finished until it satisfies his own rigorous benchmarks. Several accounts note the father-and-son setup behind the business, describing it as approachable and dependable from start to finish, and repeat custom features in the accounts, with one household calling on the decorators years apart, first for a flat and afterwards for a home office where green panelling, white woodwork, walls and a worktop finish were all tackled.

Period detailing also surfaces in the comments, notably intricate cornicing in a living room, and advice on arranging a space so its proportions work harder is noted as part of what the team provides. A theme running through the feedback is the crew turning up when promised and returning a spotless work area, while keeping the customer informed before and during the job is likewise praised. At one property, more was put right than had been asked for, and the results were felt to look strong. Craftsmanship and close attention to small elements run through the accounts, with no reluctance expressed about hiring the decorators for later projects.
