Taylored Plastering Services

Taylored Plastering Services is a plastering business based in Aberdeen, with 21 years of hands-on plastering experience. The owner and plasterer is Barry Taylor. The business serves Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. It offers free quotes and advice, and provides a satisfaction guarantee. Main services include plastering, skimming, taping, coving, roughcasting, painting, wallpaper removal and Artex removal.

Operating every day of the week, Taylored Plastering Services on Hilton Drive in Aberdeen appears well suited to households needing flexible scheduling. Barry, and at times Jim, are named repeatedly for repairing sagging or cracked ceilings, skimming full rooms including awkward corners, and re-plastering kitchens, shower rooms and lounges in period granite properties. One thing mentioned again and again is the speed and clarity of quoting, with several customers noting a fair price agreed within hours of a wall or ceiling being viewed.

A number of reviews mention tidiness, describing dust cleared and areas left spotless at the end of each visit, sometimes down to small details such as wiped surfaces. Reliability also stands out, with jobs fitted in at short notice and tradesmen arriving when promised, even coordinating key drop-offs when customers were away from the property.

Clear, friendly advice on the right approach to a damaged or patchy wall before work begins is another recurring theme, along with painting sometimes carried out alongside plastering for a complete finish. Repairs following leaks and general refurbishment in older Aberdeen homes account for much of the work described, with feedback consistently pointing to careful, considerate tradesmen who leave rooms ready to paint straight after finishing, all within a business reachable around the clock, every day.
