GSD Painting & Decorating Contractors

GSD Painting & Decorating Contractors was incorporated in January 2017 and is directed by Greg Clark. The company has over 60 skilled team members and in January 2022 reached a £5 million turnover milestone with 80 skilled tradesmen.

It specialises in delivering high-quality decorative finishes for commercial painting projects across Central and Greater London and has completed over 350 projects. GSD London is 100% Net Carbon Neutral, reuses 45% of waste materials across its sites, has created 154 new local job opportunities, and maintains 100% of sites RIDDOR free.

Consistent quality of finish and professional conduct are the themes that surface most often in feedback on this London decorating contractor. Customers describe office fit-outs, apartment block redecorations and residential painting and decorating carried out neatly and on schedule, with several noting that operatives arrived at the agreed time and left the premises clean and tidy.

Greg is named repeatedly as a key figure, credited with overseeing work to a high standard, and his involvement appears to give clients confidence from first visit through to handover. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is the willingness to return after practical completion to carry out additional works at the client's request, something commercial clients value when a project runs beyond its original scope. Communication is described as responsive and helpful, with queries answered promptly and pricing discussed clearly before work begins.

Reviewers mention large decorating contracts as well as smaller house painting jobs, and the same care is reported across both. Repeat business features in the accounts, with clients stating they would use the firm again and would pass the name on to others, a pattern that recurs across commercial and domestic work alike, with Greg named more than once as the reason clients return.
