M. Jones Decorating Services Ltd, based on Lowestoft Road in Wymering, is noted for turning around tired-looking exteriors, with one homeowner recalling how their property went from among the least appealing on the street to a standout once the job was finished. Mick and the crew come across as reliable and approachable, working carefully and methodically through each stage.

Several comments mention how tidy the site remained while the job was underway, with the surrounding area kept clean throughout. Satisfaction with the finished result features consistently, and more than one household mentions returning for further work after being pleased with an earlier job, in one case resulting in two separate follow-on projects being commissioned. The team is described as easy to have around the home, with a genuine care shown for getting the outcome right.

Subtypes associated with the business point to a wider set of trades beyond painting alone, spanning plastering, dry lining, carpentry and tiling, suggesting the firm can handle broader refurbishment needs alongside standard decorating jobs. Operating every day of the week from 8am to 6pm, the Wymering-based team offers scope for arranging visits at weekends as well as during normal working days, serving households across the wider Portsmouth area.
