A number of customers describe his work as competitively priced, noting that he offers useful suggestions during the quotation stage rather than simply following a brief. Punctuality and tidiness come up often, with one reviewer remarking that he arrived on time and kept the work area neat throughout. The tasks covered include lounges, stairways, halls, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, along with wallpapering, painting an external bay, boxing in pipework and fitting new skirting boards.

A customer who describes themselves as a perfectionist admits to having had concerns about whether the standard would meet their expectations, and reports being delighted with the outcome. That same account mentions that friends and family have since been given David's details, and that a relative has also engaged his services. Reviewers frequently point to his careful approach and the attention given to preparation and finishing details, suggesting a consistent level of care across different rooms and surfaces, from a single external bay to a full house of bedrooms and bathrooms.
