Hawk Plastering & Decorating Services

Roker's Mansfield Crescent is home to a plastering business built almost entirely around one tradesman, Frank, whose name appears in nearly every account left by clients across Sunderland. Jobs described range from ceiling coving and wall panelling to full room plastering and hallway ceilings, with several customers returning for a second or third project after being satisfied the first time.

Something that features in review after review is punctuality, with more than one reviewer noting he arrived when arranged and worked through the job efficiently rather than dragging it out. The standard of finish is consistently described as smooth and first class, and politeness during the visit is mentioned alongside the technical result, suggesting the working manner matters as much as the plastering itself to those leaving feedback. A number of homeowners describe getting quotes quickly and having the work completed without complication, from small single-room jobs to larger commissions for family members.

Repeat custom features strongly throughout the feedback, with more than one client stating they would not consider using anyone else for future plastering work. Operating hours are listed as round the clock every day of the week, which fits with a tradesman-led setup rather than a larger firm with fixed office hours, and the base remains the Mansfield Crescent address in Roker.
