Excellent service from McHandy Plastering & Decorating Ltd. The work was completed to a very high standard and the team were professional, punctual and tidy throughout. Communication was great from start to finish and the finished result exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended and we would definitely use them again.

Gavin has done a superb job of plastering and decorating our flat. He levelled a ceiling perfectly through sanding and plastering. A great guy to work with and I’d thoroughly recommend him.

Gavin completed a near total renovation on our new family home; and organised other tradesmen where necessary. Gavin takes great pride in his work and communicates everything well. He is also immensely patient and dealt with numerous delays without fuss. We are delighted with our new home and will invite Gavin back for any future works. Cannot recommend him and his colleagues highly enough. Jonny & Rose

I would recommended Gavin and his team to anyone. He has done 2 properties for us. Gavin did the majority of the project managing as well as all of the work. The quality of work and craftsmanship is second to none. He was always informative, helpful and respectful. Never pushy or demanding.

I originally had only booked Gavin to re plaster some damage I had around my front door and my stairs and landing. But after some discussion we agreed replacing my skirting boards and door frames would be a good idea as well due to some rotting and it would look more fresh. He also agreed very kindly (mid way through) to my request of boxing in my water pipe, changing my doors and ironmongery, bannister rail as well, and do the full redecoration on top of that. He is extremely meticulous, professional, has good banter and was great at keeping me informed with everything that was going on day to day. But most of all he was very kind to my children who were interested in what he was doing. The finish is amazing and I’m very pleased with the work he carried out. I would recommend him to anyone and would definitely use him and his team again for any future projects I probably will have.

Gavin redecorated our hall, stairs & landing for us. As soon as we discussed the work with him we knew that he was the man for the job as there was quite a lot of repair work needed to the walls and doors. This confidence was confirmed when he brought all the gear in to do the work including a very effective extraction device which meant there was very little dust despite the amount of sanding that was needed. Gavin discovered and filled holes in our walls we hadn't even noticed and did great work in renovating our very tatty doors. Throughout the job he gave us great advice and any minor issues that arose were dealt with thoughtfully and professionally. As well as being a highly skilled craftsman he is very friendly and has a good sense of humour. Understandably he is usually very busy so it is worth planning ahead - well worth the wait though if you want a perfect job doing! We will be asking Gavin to do the rest of our decorating as it is needed from now on.

Gavin did a beautiful job of plastering two of our bedrooms. The finish was fantastic; he was incredibly tidy; and was just great to work with. Had we known he also project managed work, we'd have also asked him to do the skirting etc. Next time though, as this won't be the last time we ask him to do some work in our home.
