SMH Plastering Services LTD, working out of The Square in Martlesham Heath, Ipswich, is regularly praised for the care its team takes when working inside occupied homes. Sean, who leads the crew, is described consistently as punctual, polite and considerate of furniture and existing decoration, with doors and skirting protected using plastic sheeting and tape while jobs are underway.

Reviews cover skimming over artexed ceilings, fitting coving, re-rendering exterior walls with a silicone finish, and replacing and skimming a water damaged dining room ceiling after repairing the affected walls beneath it. The firm is also noted for stepping in at short notice when a previous plasterer let a customer down, finishing the work to a professional standard against a tight timescale. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is that clients return for further projects, with several jobs completed for the same households and referrals arriving through builders and past customers alike.

Freddie and Adam are named alongside Sean on more recent bookings, with quotes arranged quickly and communication described as clear from start to finish. Sweeping up and leaving rooms clean once work is finished is mentioned repeatedly as a hallmark of the service. Opening six days a week, with Saturday hours running until midday, the business offers some flexibility for coordinating around other tradespeople on site.
