Walker Of York Plastering Contractor

Mark, Henry and the team are great to work with. I have a project management and interior design business and asked the team to plaster a large country home. They are always on time, reliable, trustworthy and do a fantastic job. I will certainly use them again for future projects - Pip Interior Designs.

Excellent experience with Walkers of York. I had another plasterer fail to show and had a last minute quote from Walkers for re-plastering of my kitchen a few hours after phoning. Got a much better quote, and they managed to squeeze me in only a few days later. Quick to communicate and showed on time, and worked hard to get the job done quickly. Really pleased with the quality of the job, lovely smooth finish and included patching and skimming the plasterboard ceiling and filling chases for new sockets. Thank you!

Almost a Full House, mixture of hardwall and plasterboard used. Secretly I am that particular customer. Looking for professionalism from beginning to end. Attention to detail and I don’t like mess. After a bad experience with someone else, wonky walls, lumpy ceilings. I had reluctantly accepted trades are not what they once were. How wrong could I be! These gentlemen are outstanding! They work hard from the moment they arrive, no nonsense, highly skilled and motivated to provide an expertly finished job. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend them, the only negative, wish I had found them sooner.

I can’t recommend Mark and his team highly enough. They did a fantastic job on our 10m x 5m extension and adjoining nursery. The boarding and plastering were flawless, and they went the extra mile by matching and extending the original cornice so seamlessly you’d never know where the old stopped and the new began. The nursery was needed urgently, and Mark really pulled out all the stops — he had three of his plasterers in on a Saturday morning to get the full room finished in time. Brilliant service from start to finish.

Mark & Henry and team boarded and plastered the entire open plan, vaulted ceilings, 6 skylights and tricky corners. True professional cleaned as they went left the site ready in. What delightful team of guys it was a pleasure to have them in in our home.

Walker of York Plastering have completed 3 rooms for me now. I would highly recommend them. They have also fitted in an urgent job quickly, which helped me no end. The would not hesitate to recommend them!

Decent family run company, great team that are organised, tidy and work fast would highly recommend. They came out to quote and started the job when they said they would. Always turned up on time and completed the work within 3-4 weeks as promised. Large 4 bed bungalow with a vaulted ceiling boarded and skimmed. Standard 12.5mm boards, 25mm and 60mm insulated boards were used. Did a great job of boxing out an awkward steel rafter aswell. A job well done.
