I was looking for light grey tiles for our downstairs wet room. I took the measurements from the builders who said give this to the owner at this store. Al Murad was so quiet and I got served immediately, I looked at the display and we chose the Kenyan style grey; as my parents were born and raised there before arriving in England many moons ago. This brought back alot of memories for them. Payment made and as usual I told them that my builders will be coming to collect the goods in due course.
Bought paint and solvite, the paint was out of date, it smelt rancid, painted part of wall thinking it was okay but after researching it said not to use as this can cause health issues etc, returned it immediately but cant get rid of the smell from the walls, had to re sand the area and repaint over! The wall paper paste was sold to us without the outer packaging, see image. The worker just added it to the bag so we wouldn't notice! Overall not a good experience

Loved this shop such a huge collection of tiles and beautiful paper!!! Lovely owner too even got a free coffee and car loaded up! Highly recommended
